Alexandre Gallenne

Alexandre Gallenne

Assistant Professor

Variable Stars · Cepheids · Interferometry · Distance Scale

High angular resolution astronomy using long-baseline optical/infrared interferometry and adaptive optics imaging. His work focuses on pulsating stars (especially Cepheids) and binary systems, aiming to measure stellar masses, radii, and distances to improve the calibration of the cosmic distance scale.
